Rebecca K. Oliver is the Executive Director for the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA). Mrs. Oliver is dedicated to the organization’s mission to support and empower School Social Workers in their role to promote the social, emotional, and mental health well-being of students in the school setting.

Rebecca K. Oliver attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she achieved an undergraduate degree in psychology before completing her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Mrs. Oliver provided School Social Work services in Round Rock ISD for over 20 years. She was deeply passionate in her role of providing direct services to students and families, addressing barriers that can negatively affect or impede the student’s school success. Her joy for supporting students through a strengths-based approach ignited a strong commitment to the school social work profession. This passion led her to a position on the SSWAA Board for a number of years before moving into her current position as the Executive Director.
