The National School-Based Health Care Conference Site Visit
The School-Based Health Alliance is sponsoring this event. Therefore, we are no longer charging a fee. We invite conference attendees to a site visit showcasing the School-Based Health and Wellness Center at Wheaton High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. This event will highlight the wide range of programs and services supporting students’ physical health, safety, social and emotional well-being, and academic performance.

The School-Based Health and Wellness Center at Wheaton High School is a collaborative initiative between Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Montgomery County Public Schools, and community-based organizations. Participants will explore the vital role of School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) in promoting health equity and enhancing student outcomes academically and in life.
Learn from experts at the School-Based Health Alliance, the Maryland Assembly on School-Based Health Care, CCI Federally Qualified Health Center, Identity, and Montgomery County’s DHHS School Health Services. Gain valuable insights into the planning and operation of SBHCs, strategies for sustainable partnerships, and their integration within broader school strategies. A bus will transport participants, and breakfast will be served at the site visit location. Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. REGISTER today to secure your spot.
